The new edition of DDM – Higher Education course in Knitwear Design at Politecnico di Milano starts in February 2018!
The course forms knitwear design specialists, combining design knowledge with technical skills. Students start from learning hand knitting and machine knitting techniques and go on to the study and the design of a knitwear collection. They will be guided by teachers along the steps of the project, from research to shapes, volumes, yarns, from knitted samples to the shaping of garments.
The course offers, for the first time this year, the great opportunity to see your own fashion collection realized in an industrial way, with electronic knitting machines: the last part of the course is delivered at the knitwear factory MF1, partner of the course, and there students will transform their ideas into real, industrial-made, clothing.
