Raffia, paper, and plastic come to life and meet the knitwear to witness the beauty of the whitered mind. Xiaowen Zhang, a young Chinese designer, is inspired by the drama “Farewell to my concubine” and draws a capsule collection of circular and organic shapes. The textiles created by Xiaowen are colorful and original fabrics and demonstrate the great ability of the designer to discard different and unusual materials to get a product that can be worn. The collection went off at the Spring Show 2017 at the Academy of Art University.
