Matty Bovan is a young talent who specialized in Fashion Knitwear obtaining an MA at the Central Saint Martins in London in 2015, with a collection of sculptural knits that earn him the L’Oréal Professionnel Creative Prize and the LVMH Graduate Prize 2015. His Autumn Winter 2017/18 collection, born from the interest in medieval history on one hand, from the fascination for a science fiction film set in a dying future on the other, sees, in turn, a brilliant and peculiar use of knitting techniques, with numerous pieces made from rectangular wool sections, some hand‐worked, and others produced on an old knitting machine from the Eighties.
