This tutorial will teach you how to end your work, that is to fix every stitch while removing them from the needle: you’ll get your beautiful shining ready to use garment!
Every time you finish your work, you have to cast off all the stitches. This step is essential to be sure not to lose all the work you’ve made.
It goes without saying that this is an invaluable stitch to anyone addicted to knitting!
It can be made on both the right and the back of your work.
Here we show how to close the stitches on the right side.
Come on then! Follow the instructions, download the PDF file and keep your eye on the tutorial!
If you want to cast off on the right side:
Slip the first stitch without knitting it and knit the second. Then put the left needle into the slipped stitch.
Pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch and let it fall from the needle.
Knit the third stitch and pass the second knitted stitch on the third. Repeat these movements through the end of the row.
